Calling all burger lovers: Toronto’s Big Smoke Burger has arrived in Vancouver. And it’s good. It’s really good.

Founded in 2007 in Toronto, Big Smoke Burger has quite the cult following in “Hogtown,” (there are currently five Big Smoke Burger locations in downtown Toronto alone) and has been steadily expanding their operation over the years. We knew it was only time before they made the predestined leap to the West Coast.

What makes Big Smoke Burger such a big deal? We think it’s their all-beef-party-in-your-mouth experience: The burgers are absolutely delicious!

Their commitment to burgers is based on going back to basics, and sourcing the freshest ingredients to deliver the best possible product. Each mouthwatering gourmet burger is made fresh daily from Canadian AAA ground chuck, seasoned to perfection, grilled-to-order, and topped with signature made-in-house sauces and fixings. Add a side of their incredible crispy, hand-cut fries or traditional poutine to your order, and you’ll be in foodie heaven.

Not sure what to order from the menu? Customer favourites include the Lamb Burger (fresh lamb, cilantro-feta spread, crisp lettuce and tomato), the Spicy Beef Burger (caramelized onions, spicy chipotle mayo, tomato + lettuce), and the Jerk Chicken Sandwich (jerk-marinated chicken breast, hot peppers and barbecue sauce). We’re burger purists and can regularly be found at one of their harvest tables, chowing down on the Classic burger with smoked Canadian cheddar — yum!

Whatever you decide to order, it’ll be mighty tasty!

Big Smoke Burger Vancouver is located at 500 West Broadway, and is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visit for more information.
